These Zeiss Spotting Scopes weigh only 3.20 lbs and are 13.58 inches in length, making them very portable in the field. In addition to the Zeiss Diascope 85FL 's portability are its excellent technical features. The Zeiss Diascope 85 mm T FL has a close focus of 16.3 ft allowing a closer view of animals without disturbing them. All Carl Zeiss 85 mm T-FL Dia Scopes incorporate Fluoride (FL) glass in the Advanced Optical System. This Spotting-Scope by Carl Zeiss also has the Lotu Tec lens coating on all exterior lens surfaces which sheds water and reduces dirt and oil build up.

The FL glass provides the purest color and razor-sharp definition edge-to-edge in its class.
