Zeiss DC 4 Digital Camera Eyepiece 528031 is a
unique device that unites both features of a camera and eyepiece into one device. The Zeiss DC4 Eyepiece is compatible with all Zeiss Diascope Spotting Scopes. This new device by Zeiss defines Digiscoping (digital photography through a spotting scope) in a new and fascinating manner. With the Zeiss DC 4 Digiscoping Eyepiece it is now possible to observe an object and take digital pictures of that object simultaneously. The DC4 Zeiss Digiscoping Eyepiece will take the place of an addition camera and camera adapter. Also, the time that was spent setting up the spotting scope and camera for a shot is now saved. 528031 Zeiss DC4 Digital Eyepiece Camera with LCD Screen, SD slot is perfect for Zeiss Diascope Spotting Scope Digiscoping.
The Zeiss DC 4 Digital Camera Eyepiece is a high quality observation eyepiece with a 40x magnification (with Diascope 85 T* FL), or 30x magnification (with Diascope 65 T* FL). The eyepiece is rubber-armored and water resistant for outdoor use in any weather condition. The Zeiss Digital Camera Eyepiece also has push / pull eyecups for a comfortable view for eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers.
The Zeiss DC-4 Digi Cam Eyepiece features an advanced 4 MPx camera with an innovative signal processing for outstanding photos. The camera also features a good light intensity and long focal length for impressive pictures, even in far-away wildlife scenes. In addition to the camera, the Zeiss DC 4 Eyepiece has a large 2.0" LCD display for viewing an image while taking a picture and afterwards. A remote control comes with the eyepiece that lets the user to easily take a picture and also setup the camera for ISO, white balance, and many other camera parameters. For storage of images, an Secure Digital (SD) memory card is included, which can hold hundreds of photos. These photos can then be easily transferred to a computer via the eyepiece's USB port, and also projected to a TV through the Video port. The Zeiss DC 4 Eyepiece can be powered by standard batteries, rechargeable batteries, and through a power supply.
