Microprocessor-based, menu-driven dissolved oxygen meters are designed for laboratory measurement of dissolved oxygen and are useful for B.O.D. determinations.

Large LCD read-out provides on-screen menus and large data fields for ease of operation and readability. Each keystroke gives tactile feedback and audio response. Automatic stabilization feature alerts user when stable D.O. reading is reached. Internal software is user-upgradable. Internal memory storage for up to 100 data sets. RS-232 port for computer interface. Real-time clock is standard. Angled profile for ease of use.

Model 5100 offers the same functionality and adds built-in application software for the calculation of Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR) and Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR). This simplifies compliance with USEPA 503 regulations for vector attraction and provides useful tools for plant operation decisions. An internal barometer performs automatic barometric pressure compensation. Automated calibration saves time. Optional bar code scanner allows quick sample identification (accessory to Model 5100 only).

Self-stirring B.O.D. probe operates directly from meter’s power supply, eliminating the need for an extra power cable or adapter. Meters are also compatible with all existing YSI dissolved oxygen probes when used with adapter 52457-068. Optional BOD Analyst* software does all B.O.D. calculations.

Ordering Information: AC adapter or four C batteries are required for operation; both are included with meter. B.O.D. probe (required for operation) and accessories sold separately.
