ZapCap-S bottle-top filters are fast, convenient, disposable 500mL devices designed for vacuum filtration of cell culture media and other aqueous solutions. Units have up to five times faster flow rates plus better throughput than other 500mL units.

The 76mm (3") dia. membrane is pure cellulose acetate with very low protein binding and low extractables. One device fits all standard glass media bottles with neck sizes of 33–45mm. When filtering larger volumes, the unique sealing gasket design allows you to move quickly from bottle to bottle. Filters are gamma irradiated, noncytotoxic and nonpyrogenic. For maximum throughput performance, use one of the Whatman #30 glass fiber prefilters supplied with each case. Filters are individually packed.
