For filtering cell culture media, whole serum, and other viscous solutions. Features a 76mm cellulose acetate membrane filter integrated with a borosilicate prefilter in a single housing for faster flow rates and high total throughput. Cellulose acetate membrane has low extractables and very low protein binding. Effective filter area is 39.2cm2.

Sealing gasket fits all standard glass media bottles with neck sizes of 33–45mm. Filters are gamma irradiated, noncytotoxic and nonpyrogenic.
