These 10-12µm particle size plates provide a choice of high-purity silica gels and polarity for normal phase separations by thin layer chromatography. For separation of moderately to strongly polar compounds such as carbohydrates, antibiotics, proteins, amino acids, phospholipids. Normal phase TLC plates are also available on flexible supports (WC4410-224 series). They provide superior performance through better resolution, higher sensitivity, and better durability. Moderate layer hardness permits convenient spot recovery with a sample recovery tube. Plates offer excellent reproducibility, negligible moisture uptake, chemically and optically inert organic binder, outstanding layer stability, fast separation with excellent resolution.
Key to code letters/numbers: K5 10-12µm silica, of pore size 150 Å; K6 10-12µm silica, of pore size 60 Å; D Channeled plates; F Fluorescent indicator; L Preadsorbent layer; M Microscope slide; P Preparative layer, having 500µm or 1000µm thickness for large sample sizes.
