Product Category Description:

Used for nucleic acid hybridization, monoclonal antibody screening, and the study of DNA-protein binding. Ideal for quantitative immobilization and detection procedures where precise scanning is essential. Facilitates the application of the sample on the solid phase in slots compatible with densitometric scanning.

Small slot (0.75x8.0mm) configuration promotes higher signals than dot-blot forms. Acrylic Minifold II has beveled edges with specially designed side rails for easy clamping. O-ring and side rail design provide 72 even discrete slots without sample/solution migration across the filter. Each slot has a 6.0mm2 surface area and a capacity of 600µL/slot. Pressure: 0.9 bar, vacuum. Accessory membranes are prenotched and cut to fit the Minifold II.
