Product Category Description:

Produced entirely from the highest quality cotton linters with no additives. These pure cellulose sheets ensure that no contamination will occur during transfer. High-quality, economical papers are ideal for capillary blotting, gel wicking/drying, and as spacers in blotting devices.

The grade GB003 sheets are 0.8mm thick, have a smooth surface, medium absorbancy, and are suitable for gel support. The grade GB004 sheets are 1mm thick, are ideal for capillary blotting of nucleic acids, and are used for wicking purposes. Sheets provide higher absorbency and more consistent wicking than paper towels. The grade GB005 extra-thick sheets are 1.2mm thick, are highly absorbent, and are ideal for semi-dry blotting of proteins. Grade GB004 and GB005 blotting sheets are recommended for applications where fewer layers of paper must still ensure high capacity.
