For PCR†, DNA manipulation, and P32. Genomic tips feature a very large orifice to prevent the shearing of cell membranes. Tips are ideal for pipetting sticky proteins or rDNA. Provide complete protection from sample carry-over and help prevent pipettor contamination from aerosols or fluids. Samples can be completely recovered without cutting into the tip.

Tips incorporate a robotically-inserted filter that is made from high molecular weight polyethylene. The filters allow the pipettor to draw by venting through a tortuous sponge-like pathway. Pores in the pathway have an average size of 10µm, so even radionucleotides are captured before reaching the pipettor barrel.

Tips are free of RNase, DNase, endotoxins, and metals. Sterile tips are gamma-irradiated to guarantee sterility. Autoclavable using 15psi at 122°C (252°F) for 15 minutes.
