Product Category Description:

Designed for heavy laboratory use, the PowerMax AHS 250 is capable of batch homogenizing high-viscosity materials or cell tissues. Ideal for high-speed dispersion as well as wastewater and soil analysis. The homogenizer unit features a powerful 700W motor that has variable speed control from 10,000–30,000 rpm. Auto-Loc generators up to 30mm in diameter and sealed chamber assemblies (see series 14227-268) are recommended. Homogenizer unit is also compatible with stainless steel GenPack economy generators (see series 14230-688), which eliminate the need for cleaning between samples and feature hands-free generator ejection.

Durable Auto-Loc generators are designed to be changed quickly and easily with only a quarter-turn. Constructed of 316 stainless steel. Units can be completely sterilized by hot air, autoclaving, flaming, or chemical processes. A foam-reducing design limits the amount of air introduced into the sample during homogenization. All generators disassemble quickly and easily for cleaning.

Optional external speed control offers a broader speed range (0–30,000rpm) and can be remotely located outside fume hoods for easy, safe speed adjustments. Available in digital or analog.

Ordering Information: Standard package includes a 700W variable speed motor unit, stainless steel support stand, heavy-duty clamp, three Auto-Loc generators (10x105mm sawtooth, 20x200mm sawtooth, and 30x200mm flat-bottom), tool kit, spare bearings, and instruction manual.
