Ocular micrometers and reticles are ideal for a variety of educational and research applications, including photo framing for photomicrography, measuring of specimens, and counting contaminants in specimens.

When installed in the eyepiece, the image etched on the glass reticle is in the focal plane of the eyepiece, superimposing the reticle image on the specimen image. Supplied with spring retention clip to hold the reticle in position.

Ocular micrometers and grids require calibration to render empirical value to the measurement observed. Use stage micrometer calibration plates 82026-612 and -610 to calibrate.
