Customized Volume Orders

For large volume orders, we can personalize products with your company name or logo. Personalized products make great corporate gifts for the holiday season or any other occasion. Contact one of our Government and Volume Sales Specialists for more information.

Military Only

We have thousands of products that we supply to the US Military, Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. Some of these products can be sold to these organizations or directly to personnel for official use only. We have years of experience fulfilling the most difficult orders and we go the extra mile to ensure you get the tools you need.

We reserve the right to request verification documents to process orders for specific Military Only items. For a complete list of Military Only items, click here.

For a limited number of restricted items that are marked “Sales to Military Personnel Only,” we will need AT LEAST TWO of the following documents to fulfill an order:

  1. An email sent from a .mil address.
  2. An agency letterhead specifically requesting or authorizing the purchase of said item
  3. A copy of the customer’s military ID (military contractor ID’s are NOT accepted)
  4. A billing and shipping address clearly indicating that the item will be shipped to an authorized military unit.

For military orders of restricted products from Insight Technology, we require an official Purchase Order directly from your Military Unit.

Law Enforcement Only

We sell a complete line of equipment for Law Enforcement Personnel that is only available for sale to qualified organizations or authorized law enforcement personnel. Orders for  items we carry such as: Dynamic Entry Tools, Bulletproof Vests, Pepper Spray, and Tactical lights will need to be verified. For a complete list of Law Enforcement only items, click here.

For a limited number of restricted items that are marked “Sales to Law Enforcement Personnel Only,” we will need AT LEAST TWO of the following documents to fulfill an order:

  1. An email sent from a Police Department E-mail address.
  2. An agency letterhead specifically requesting or authorizing the purchase of said item
  3. A copy of the customer’s law enforcement ID
  4. A billing and shipping address clearly indicating that the item will be shipped to a law enforcement department.

For Police and Law Enforcement orders of restricted products from Insight Technology, we require an official Purchase Order directly from your Police Department.

RFQ Process

Our RFQ process is simple and streamlined. Simply go to our RFQ Form and fill in all the relevant information and one of our Government and Volume Sales Specialists will get back to you quickly with an official quote.

Payment Terms

We accept a wide variety of payment options including corporate purchase orders, credit card payments, wire transfers, Government credit cards, and corporate/business checks. Separate billing arrangements may be available upon credit approval. OpticsPlanet, Inc. will accept term payment Purchase Orders with proper credit references and credit history. For our Government (Military, Department of Homeland Security, Federal, State, County, City) Accounts, we do not require a minimum order amount and extend Net 30 day terms automatically upon approval. We do not charge Sales Tax for customers residing outside of Illinois and a tax exemption is provided to qualified IL-based governmental and non-profit agencies (proper proof of tax exemption must be provided).

Shipping Policy

Our policy of  Free UPS Ground shipping (in the US, except Alaska and Hawaii) still applies to most, if not all, volume discount orders. We ship orders to military APO/FPO addresses via USPS at no additional charge on military orders over $29.95 (Hazmat fees, if any, still apply). Please refer to our APO/FPO Shipping and Export Restrictions for more information on export to APO/FPO addresses.We can also provide alternate freight options if required. For items that can’t be shipped with UPS Ground, we offer various freight options as well as other shipping alternatives. Our Government and Volume Sales Specialists will let you know about all available shipping options.

Other Organizations

For Volume Orders other than those by Governmental Agencies, we do have minimum order requirements.
