The Vixen VMC330LDG Catadioptric GP-Trim telescope is a unique catadioptric telescope that uses a meniscus corrector
lens along with two high-precision spherical mirrors to produce a sharp image with no hint of false color. The f/13.1 optical system is suitable for observation of all types of celestial objects and offers excellent performance for both visual planetary eyepiece projection imaging.
The Vixen VMC330LDG Catadioptric GP-Trim telescope, however, is not just another catadioptric telescope. The open tube design of the The Vixen VMC330LDG Catadioptric GP-Trim telescope eliminates the dew problem that is common with conventional Schmidt-Cassegrain systems and the rack and pinion focuser eliminates image-shift common in other catadioptric designs. You can even tweak the collimation on the The Vixen VMC330LDG Catadioptric telescope via pairs of push-pull collimation screws.
