The Vixen VMC110L Telescope w/ Porta II Mount is one of the best multiple purpose grab and go telescopes paired with Porta II Telescope Mount that is perfectly suited for looking at the starsimage and even the birds in the tree half a mile away. Vixen VMC110L Scope has more light gathering capability than anything else in this price range and a extremely light weight at 4.6lbs. The VMC110L by Vixen, is a 110 mm (4.33 inch) aperture modified Cassegrain f / 9.4 optical tube assembly. This Vixen Scope VMC110L includes a built in slide mirror. With no corrector plate, the Vixen VMC110L features a small corrector lens ahead of the secondary mirror.

Paired with Vixen Porta II Mount it is the perfect pick up and go package. The Porta II Mount gives great performance when viewing objects at high magnification, the damping and vibration being significantly reduced as compared to other lesser quality telescope mounts.
