The Vixen ED115S w/ Sphinx SXD Mount has newly designed high definition ED lens that gives excellent performance with a short optical tube for easy handling. The Vixen's ED115S telescope ED imagelenses feature brighter images from the shorter f / 7.7 focal ratio to capture crisp, pinpoint star images for your enjoyment. The new Vixen Telescope ED115 S lenses are made with environmentally friendly technologies, free of hazardous lead that helps to support a cleaner global environment. The telescope OTA comes equipped with a metal carry handle for easy one-hand carrying.

Pair this with Vixen's Sphinx SXD Mount with the Star Book hand controller and you have a system designed with astrophotographers in mind. The SXD Mount has a loading capacity of 50 pounds. The smooth RA and DEC axes provide increase your viewing experience.
