Vixen R200SS Telescope with Sphinx SXD Mount 25036 includes the remarkably fast 200mm (8") f/4 parabolic primary mirror of the Vixen R200SS Newtonian reflector telescope gives extremely sharp images with no chromatic aberration. The use of state-of-the-art ED coating technology yields the ideal surface for its f/4 primary mirror. The astronomer will enjoy wide views of deep sky objects. Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be viewed at the same time with this instrument. The Vixen Telescope 's large aperture and compact body make it ideally suited for astrophotograpy of nebulae, star clusters and comets. This Telescope uses an optional coma corrector that allows for a sharp coma-free image from edge to edge, and the rack and pinion focusing mount, with an adapter, accepts 2 eyepieces. The R200SS telescope by Vixen comes standard with the 7x50 finder, 232mm tube rings, dovetail tube plate and new focus design with more distance f or photographic equipment, as well as being compatible with the new Vixen Sphinx SXW Mount 2502. The 7x50 achromatic finder has a field of view of 6.8" and a Kellner type eyepiece

This version of the Vixen R200SS OTA Telescope is the optical assembly and comes with the Vixen Sphinx SXD Mount 2503 the Vixen 2502 Sphinx SXW Mount is also available seperately.
