The Vixen ED81SWT apochromatic refractor uses extra-low dispersion glass in the objective to reduce chromatic aberration to a virtually invisible level. This feature of Vixen telescope ED81SWT provides better resolution and color at all magnifications. The medium focal length optical system combined with the high-performance ED objective insures top performance for either visual or photographic applications.

Like all SWT Vixen equipped telescopes, the Vixen ED81SWT apochromatic refractor is equipped with a unique flip mirror system that allows either straight through viewing or 90 degree viewing with 1.25" eyepieces (not included) or straight through viewing with 2" eyepieces (not included). The Vixen ED81SWT apochromatic telescope also includes a red dot finder, 90mm tube rings, carry handle and dovetail tube plate.
