The Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic refractor offers enough size for serious planetary work and The Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic telescope uses extra-low dispersion glass in the objective to reduce chromatic aberration to a virtually invisible level. This feature of Vixen telescope provides better resolution and color at all magnifications. The medium focal length optical system combined with the high-performance ED objective insures top performance for either visual or photographic applications.
Like all SWT Vixen equipped telescopes, the Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic refractor is equipped with a unique flip mirror system that allows either straight through viewing or 90 degree viewing with 1.25" eyepieces (not included) or straight through viewing with 2" eyepieces (not included). The Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic telescope also includes a 7x50 finder, tube rings, carry handle and dovetail tube plate.
This version of the Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic telescope is supplied with the ultimate in a visual and photographic equatorial mount, the Vixen Great Polaris Equatorial DX Mount with Vixen HAL110 Tripod.
