Product Category Description:

The GelDoc-It systems are designed for dedicated fluorescence and colorimetric imaging. Systems are supplied with a darkroom, transilluminator, camera, and VisionworksLS capture and analysis software. The compact darkroom mounts onto any one of three available transilluminators. The 2UV transilluminator provides 302 and 365nm UV wavelengths and the 3UV model offers three UV wavelengths (254/302/365nm). Both transilluminators have a filter size of 21x26cm. The FirstLight FI-26X model offers a 302nm wavelength and a filter size of 25x26cm. The darkroom’s top exterior accomodates camera and zoom lens, and provides easy access to the emission filter tray (ethidium bromide filter included). A unique gel viewer window built into the darkroom door allows sample viewing while blocking UV emissions.

The GelDoc-It imaging systems are specifically designed to work with Fluor and Gel cameras. The noncooled Fluor camera offers 8bit, 768x582 resolution. The noncooled Gel camera offers 12bit, 1344x1024 resolution and 43% peak quantum efficiency.
