US Optics Accurracy International AW (AE) Bases are 3/8 tall (except Accurracy International AW 50 - .7" tall) riser rail style with 20 MOA down dovetail to Picatinney adapter. 
U.S. Optics Riflescope Bases are made of 6061-T6 and Type III Hard Matte Black.
Accurracy International AE, AW Base: This Riflescope Base is for AI AW models that do not have the Picatinny base already for it. This base requires that you or your gunsmith drills and taps four 6-48 holes in the top of the receiver. Down angle built into the mount for long distance shooting. The design of the base is such that it overlaps the dovetail for no side-to-side movement. Accurracy International AW .30/.33/.300/.308: This mount transforms the standard 11mm dovetail to 1913 Picatinney style. Recoil pins interface with receiver for zero movement. Down angle added for long distance shooting. Accurracy International AW 50: Riser rail style with a .7" height. This was design for use with the AI .50cal for mounting the SN-9 and other scopes. The existing mount is extremely low and even with X-high rings it could stand to sit a bit taller. 10/32 hex head screws provide ample torque for zero movement.
