The colposcope's binocular head features a 3-step magnification range - 3.75X, 7.5X and 15X that switches easily between magnification settings while staying in focus. Twin 12.5X eyepieces with dual diopters and rubber eye guards allow the user to independently focus each eyepiece to adjust for the natural vision differential between eyes for viewing comfort. This UNICO lab instrument holds a super-bright LED bulb that powers the fiber optic illumination, complete with variable intensity rheostat providing ample light for any application. The illumination system includes a built-in green filter. The colposcope is mounted on an adjustable height center post with smooth suspension system, and a sturdy, 5-legged, easy-to-maneuver base lets you slide the laboratory instrument in and under exam tables for optimal positioning.
