Trijicon CA Night Sight Sets are designed for Colt Government, Combat Elite, Delta Elite, Officers ACP, and Combat Commander automatic pistols with factory original fixed sights. The professional gun smith must use the available special Trijicon staking tool. This staking tool will fit both .125 and .055 tang widths. Other staking tools will destroy these blades and can not be used. The .125 tang width blade can be modified by a local gun smith to .085 to fit a Springfield 1911, but other .45 brands don't fit these blades. The Gold Cup set is a complete new adjustable sight base assembly with sapphire dots. The Gold Cup set also fits the Python and other Colt revolvers with adjustable rear blades. Bars instead of dots can be used on the revolver adjustable blades. The posts are interchangeable between rifles. An A2 post will fit on an A1 rifle.

Trijicon offers a choice of illuminated dot colors, to suit individual shooter preferences. Trijicon Night Sights are available with green, yellow, and orange aiming dots. Trijicon recommends green dots because they are the brightest lamps. They are best for targets in low- and no-light shooting conditions. However, because some shooters prefer greater distinction between their front and rear sights, Trijicon also offers yellow and orange dots for rear sights. Trijicon recommends yellow over orange for the rear dots because yellow is brighter, lasts longer, and therefore carries a longer warranty. Trijicon Colt Officers 3 Dot Front & Rear Night Sight Set CA09 are designed and assembled with the optimum combination of strength and safety. The patented aluminum cylinder and sapphire lens construction cannot be equaled. The brightness obtained from the tritium content is focused through the sapphire lens to give the maximum possible illumination.
