By doing so, this Trijicon Mount reduces weight, cost, and accuracy loss due to multiple surface contacting and mechanical failure. Note: Trijicon TA70 Mount is NOT compatible with the Springfield SOCOM II equipped with their “Cluster Rail” system. The “Cluster Rail” uses the mounting hole on the left side of the receiver as an attachment point. Trijicon TA70 Mount also requires this hole for proper attachment to the receiver. If a standard M14 or M1A hand guard is used, Trijicon TA-70 ACOG Adapter will work.
