Product Category Description:

Three-zone tube furnaces incorporate split-hinge design for easy process tube installation, fast cooling, and overall ease of operation. The heated chamber is divided into three independent power zones, each with its own thermocouple. When used with the recommended control console, a profile of ±1°C over the center 25.4–30.5cm (10–12") can be achieved. Can be mounted and operated horizontally or vertically without any modification. By using interchangeable tube adapters, the furnace will accept a variety of different sized process tubes. Electric heating modules of Moldatherm* ceramic fiber insulation and a light gauge overbend (LGO*) heating element improve uniformity and profile, heat-up, and element-to-work chamber heat transfer. Maximum temperature: 1200°C.

Ordering Information: Each furnace includes Platinel* II thermocouple and one set of two tube adapters: 2.5cm (1") dia. size with 30779-056; and 7.62cm (3") dia. size with 30779-064. Furnaces are supplied without controller and interconnecting power wiring. An optional stand for vertical mounting and an RS-485 communications data port are available; contact our sales representative. Process tubes not included.
