Product Category Description:

The Megafuge 1.0 and 1.0R are ideal for medium- to large-sized sample loads. They offer flexibility for a variety of separations applications by accommodating swinging bucket, microliter, and microtiter plate rotors, interchangeably. Units feature a brushless induction drive motor, precise microprocessor controls, and LED displays that indicate speed, RCF, and run time. Refrigerated model, 20300-014, uses CFC-free refrigerant and indicates the temperature on an LED display. Quick run function allows convenient quick spins. Soft-start/soft-brake ensures controlled braking for sensitive samples.

The brushless induction drive motor provides quiet, maintenance-free operation. Optional safety trolley (20300-222 for Megafuge 1.0 and 20300-220 for Megafuge 1.0R, sold separately) allows underbench storage. Units also feature a stainless steel rotor chamber. Electronic lid lock and imbalance detector provide user safety.
