Tele Vue NP-101is Imaging System Telescope OTA Product Info

The TeleVue NP101is Imaging System is a modified version of the TeleVue-NP101 Telescope . TeleVue Scope NP101is has 2.4" focuser that permits use of a larger draw tube that does notimage vignette the field rays exiting the rear elements of the objective. This draw tube also permits quick change from visual to imaging operation and allows full camera rotation without focus change. The focuser integrates a 6:1 reduction drive called the Focusmate, which allows the precise control required to focus a CCD camera on an f/5.4 system. Also the focuser on the Tele Vue NP101is has a unique tilt adjustment that allows you to square any CCD digital camera to the scope's optical axis.

Whether you are interested in terrestrial nature studies, astronomical rich-field or planetary observing, or photography of the earth and skies, just put in an optional star diagonal and eyepiece or attach a digital camera and the TeleVue Imaging System is ready to satisfy your observing desires right out of its case. In addition, NP-101is Imaging System is easy to set-up that will make it a scope you will use often.
