Tasco Target/Varmint 2.5-10x42mm Riflescope with Illuminated Mil Dot Reticle is an outstanding performer at intermediate and long ranges with an extra large 42mm objective lens. This imageTasco riflescope features a Illuminated Mil-Dot reticle. Tasco 's top-of-the-line riflescope delivers superior optical clarity and brightness in even the dimmest light. Tasco Target/Varmint scope is 100% waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Titan riflescopes are engineered to stand up to both magnum recoil and the harsh terrain of high-country wilderness. The premium, multi-coated, SuperCon optics of Tasco rifle scope deliver impressive detail. And the finger-adjustable windage and elevation controls make sighting-in simple.

The mil dot reticle takes the guesswork out of the long shots. Its design, with multiple aiming points, not only allows you to determine the exact distance of your target but also provides you with the correct aiming points regardless of distance. Engineered to improve upon the conventional crosshair reticle and the more recently developed crosshair with pickets, the mil dot reticle features a crosshair reticle with pickets featuring multiple aiming points. The intersection of the fine wire portion should be zeroed at 100 yards and used for shots to about 200 yards for most bullet loads. The vertical dots located below the intersection should be used for distances greater than your zeroed distance.
