The Surefire KX2 LED Conversion Head for SureFire Flashlights is a light emitting diode head that converts a SureFire E2E and E2D incandescent flashlights into dual-output, longer-running LED flashlights. It also replaces the KL1 LED head on older versions of the E2L, converting the light to a dual-output flashlight and increasing its maximum output and runtime. The KX2's LED and Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens produce a tight beam with plenty of reach but enough surround beam to accommodate peripheral vision. The KX2's maximum output is 60 lumen at its high setting, 3 lumen at its low setting. And it continues producing useful light levels for 100 hours on a set of Surefire lithium 123A batteries. Made of hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum, the rugged, durable KX2 is also O-ring sealed and gasketed to keep out moisture, dust, and dirt. The KX2 installs in seconds-simply unscrew and remove the incandescent bezel assembly or existing LED head and screw on the KX2 head.
