It doesn't take much abuse to put a "set" into your cleaning rod, or to damage the surface, or to accumulate small scratches. Any of these mishaps will render your cleaning rod useless. The Stoney Point Cleaning Rod Caddy is designed to hold and protect any diameter of cleaning rod up to 48" long, including the brands commonly used by competitive shooters.
Cleaning Rod Caddies by Stoney Point are constructed from high-strength, black anodized aluminum tubing. Two Stoney Point models are available for single rods (Stoney Point RC-1 Cleaning Rod Caddy (1)), or a pair of cleaning rods (Stoney Point RC-2 Cleaning Rod Caddy (2)). The pairs are furnished with specially-designed tubing clamps, which also provide a method for attaching to your cleaning bench. Tubular sleeves and a ready-to-use epoxy kit are furnished for easy at-home assembly.
