Stellarvue Azimuth Mount for Telescopes Product Info

Stellarvue Azimuth Mount for Telescopes, is a smooth and stable geared mount for use with the Stellavue SV115T. The telescope mount comes with an aluminum imagesurveyor's tripod with Appleply tray, spring loaded Vixen style dovetail shoe. paddle type locks and micrometric slow motion controls. Gear axis is driven by an oversized worm gear. Move the mount manually from object to object, tighten the lock paddles and the gears are engaged. Paddle style lock knobs and large knurled adjustment knobs make navigation easy. This Stellarvue AZ MG mount is much more stable than the M1. Telescopes attach easily to the spring loaded dovetail shoe. The mount has an integral heavy duty column which extends the mount above the tripod for clearance. This MGE Stellarvue mount has practically zero damping time, a significant improvement over one arm fork mounts that vibrate for several seconds.
