Wraparound insulation with a low-watt density element brings the unit quickly to operating temperature with superior temperature uniformity. Fiberglass insulation maintains a cool exterior while preventing energy loss. Separate sealed metering valves (1.0cm (3/8") vacuum and 0.6cm (1/4") vent valves) permit fine adjustment of vacuum and bleed operations.

Rely on the stainless steel oven chamber for years of corrosion-resistant, contamination-free service. The 1.3cm (1/2") thick tempered glass window allows viewing of contents. Oven maintains a vacuum of up to 10 millitorr. Crossflow construction ensures any inert gas used is forced across samples. Model 1430 has 2.5cm (1") access port in back.

120V models are CSA approved.
