VWR Signature vacuum ovens offer optimal control capability at an exceptionally low price. Units feature 0.6cm (1/4") O.D. vent tubing and 1.0cm (3/8") O.D. vacuum tubing for applications requiring back-fill or purging of introduced inert gases. Unique crossflow ventilation draws gas across chamber with zero leak rate. Ovens incorporate 0–30" Hg vacuum gauge for measuring vacuum.

Microprocessor control provides digital set and LED readout of temperature in 1°C increments. Multiple elements surrounding the chamber walls decrease heat-up time and enhance uniformity throughout the chamber. Side-mounted control panel protects electronics from heat generated by elements and provides frontal access to all operational controls.

Floating tempered glass viewing window assures a tight seal, and door latch keeps the door closed tight. Shelves offer excellent heat transfer to samples while maintaining uniformity. The interchangeable silicone gasket can be replaced with a Buna-N gasket (not included) for applications involving solvents. Ovens have sturdy reinforced stainless steel chambers and powder-coated exteriors.
