Product Category Description: Reliable, simple-to-operate top-loaders feature a double lever system (DLS) with a smaller block cell that is approximately half the size of a monolithic block cell. The cell is cut from a single block of aluminum with no screw fasteners between functional parts, making the balance less sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The DLS offers excellent metrological specifications and fast response time with a near-zero susceptibility to interference. The pan linkage area is designed to be highly resistant to mechanical stress. Single-function keys with tactile feedback are easy to use. Two large tare keys allow easy right- or left-handed operation. Readabilities from 0.001 to 0.1g. Additional features include large LCD readout, built-in RS-232 interface, IP54 spill protection rating, and application programs for net total, animal weighing, weighing in percent, parts counting, and mass unit conversion. External calibration is accomplished with the push of a button. Upper housing is chemical-resistant and easy to clean. Top-loaders with 0.001 readability are supplied with a glass cylindrical draft chamber for easy viewing and access to sample. Operating temperature range: 10 to 30°C (50 to 86°F).
