Product Category Description:

These single, easy-to-use instruments display refractive index, % solids (Brix), and temperature-compensated % solids without a water bath, correction chart, or thermometer. No scales to interpolate. Units make accurate measurements with as little as 0.04mL (liquids).

Readings are accurate to ±0.0001 Refractive Index, ±0.1° Brix. Instant digital LED readings of all modes and settings are available, including prism temperature. A bright, adjustable, long-life lamp illuminates both the eyepiece and sample. Focusable eyepiece and dispersion-correction prisms are standard.

Refractometers are equipped to accommodate a water bath for uncompensated measurements and feature an RS-232 serial port. This interface can be used to send data to a computer or printer, or to program custom scales.
