This series of high-precision, handheld refractometers features Brix scales in display ranges from 0 to 90%. Designed to measure the concentration of solutions, fruit juices, and other samples, such as water-soluble machining fluids. These refractometers have a chemical-resistant housing. The bearing-activated, automatic temperature-compensation mechanism, accurate to ±0.1° Brix, eliminates correction factors when making measurements. Optical design improves image resolution and provides high contrast for easy view of scales. The anti-reflection, coated glass optical components, including a 10X focusable eyepiece, have been developed to improve illumination and shadowline contrast.
