Reflector Telescopes
How reflecting telescopes work - Newtonian reflector telescopes use a mirror to gather and focus the rays of light which enter the telescopes in parallel lines. The mirror crafts the rays into a singular line which is what the viewer sees through the eyepiece. Unlike the refractor telescopes, the design of reflector telescope is very sensitive to the elements, often requiring careful cleaning and readjusting. The upside to the fragility of telescopes reflector is the fact they never endure color distortion which is a common issue with refractor telescope. Wonder what is the difference beetween a reflecting telescope and a refracting telescope, our How Reflector Telescopes work page for detailed information created by our telescope expert.
