Powerful, multi-coated binocular lenses mean crisp image resolution and color rendition from these waterproof binoculars.

The Pulsar Expert 8x40 VM Binoculars feature two viewing modes, accessed by two internal filters. Use the Contrast Mode in twighlight conditions, for enhanced image contrast and reduction of visual fogging. Use the Reflection Mode to reduce glare and eliminate the blinding effects of light reflecting from non-metallic surfaces such as snow, water, glass and ice.

The carbon composite body means that the Pulsar Expert VM is a lightweight binoculars system, durable and highly resistant to shock loading and vibration. The non-axial binocular design contains both optical channels in a single casing. The body of the water-resistant binoculars is hermitically sealed, protecting the optical systems from rain, splashing, or even total immersion in water, resisting 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The nitrogen purged optical system prevents lens fogging from sudden temperature drops, meaning they can go from indoors to outdoors with ease. Pulsar designs their pro binoculars with flat exterior filters to protect the binocular optics from sand, dust and moisture. Permanently-attached flip-up lens covers store flush against the binocular body and mean no more lost lens caps. Ergonomic eye cups protect against ambient and side light sources.
