Product Category Description:

Crucibles feature a high degree of thermal durability and are resistant to chemical attack. Transparent body and cover are ideal for analytical work, particularly where ashing of the sample is required. Covers are also useful for covering platinum or opaque crucibles. Crucibles can withstand extended use at temperatures up to 900°C (1652°F) and brief periods at temperatures as high as 1200°C (2192°F).

Note: Not recommended for alkaline applications at high temperatures. Using covers of dissimilar material can cause damage.
