Zeiss Z-Point Reflex Sights 521698 9901 / 9902 now comes with 
a Picatinny Mount. The previous model of the innovative CARL ZEISS Z Point red dot sight from OpticsPlanet.com was supplied with a spring clamp for mounting on the Picatinny rail and Weaver rail. The Picatinny rail, a mounting rail standardised according to military standard (MIL STD 1913) features 5 mm wide transverse slots for positioning the aiming and sighting devices on the weapon. On the Weaver rail, which features the same profile, the transverse slots are only 3.8 mm wide. To assure high repeat precision when unshouldering and shouldering weapons, the studs on the Zeiss Z Point Red Dot Scope should fit into the slots on the rail. In order to assure this, OpticsPlanet.com now offers the latest version of the Zeiss Z Point scope for the Picatinny rail and Weaver rail.
To achieve reliable recoil proofness of Zeiss Z-Point Reflex Sight up to the most powerful cartridges, the decision was taken to make the relatively narrow 3.8 mm stud on the Weaver version out of high-alloy aluminium - and then, at the same time, the whole casing, as well. In the interests of production efficiency, the Zeiss version for the Picatinny rail and Weaver rail was also changed to aluminium!
As its previous version, Zeiss Z-Point Reflex Sight still offers not only state-of-the-art optical and electronic systems, but also a host of exclusive features. Zeiss ZPoint Reflex Electronic Sight 521698 9901 / 9902 is mounted onto a Picatinny Rail (9901) or Weaver Rail (9902) using a spring clamp.
Zeiss Z-Point Sight is recoil-proof, shock-resistant, vibration-resistant and waterproof - sealing test as per ISO 9022-8. Z-Point Zeiss Reflex Sight's casing consists of glass fiber-reinforced material with an integrated tube body of high-strength aluminum.
