Product Category Description:
Standard boston round media bottles are designed for storage, preparation, production, and packaging of aqueous and organic solutions. Bottles are made from optically clear, medical grade, FDA approved LEXAN* polycarbonate resin. They are unbreakable, shatterproof, leakproof, and chemically inert. Uniform wall thickness offers durability, strength, clarity, and improved heat penetration. Graduation marks are screen printed. Bottles are specially developed for their ability to withstand all modes of sterilization including autoclaving, e-beam/gamma radiation, UV, and EIO sterilization. Caps are autoclavable.
Ordering Information: Available sterile or nonsterile aseptically packed. Bottles are supplied with a blue, leakproof, linerless polypropylene cap. Nonsterile bottles come packaged in shrink-wrapped trays with caps attached. Sterile bottles are gamma radiated and provided in double-layered, thermally sealed, durable plastic bags.
