The Vixen ED103S Telescope with Sphinx SXD Mount 25033 offers enough size for serious planetary work and  brighter deep-sky objects, yet retains enough portability for easy travel and set-up.
The Vixen ED103S apochromatic telescope uses extra-low dispersion glass in the objective to reduce chromatic aberration to a virtually invisible level. This feature of Vixen telescope provides better resolution and color at all magnifications. The medium focal length optical system combined with the high-performance ED objective insures top performance for either visual or photographic applications.
Like all SWT Vixen equipped telescopes, the Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic refractor is equipped with a unique flip mirror system that allows either straight through viewing or 90 degree viewing with 1.25" eyepieces (not included) or straight through viewing with 2" eyepieces (not included). The Vixen ED103SWT apochromatic telescope also includes a 7x50 finder, tube rings, carry handle and dovetail tube plate. Astronomers with larger optical tubes and all level of astrophotographers are sure to feel right at home with the intuitive controls that so many have become accustomed to with the standard Sphinx Mount. Its 4.7" Color LCD Display gives an exact position against its scrolling star chart, any object is a point and look away!
