The US Night Vision PVS-14 Alpha Monocular is currently used by the U.S. Armed Forces
and Special Ops Units. The USNV-PVS-14A is the optimum night vision monocular for users who require a multi-purpose night vision device. The system has recently been redesigned to operate on a single AA Battery and is built to fulfill the most demanding applications. The USNV PVS-14A Monocular includes a built-in IR illuminator, fully adjustable headmount and mil-spec multi-coated optics. Automatic Brightness Control and Bright Source Protection are standard. The manual gain control feature allows the user to increase or decrease image tube brightness for best possible image contrast in high and low light conditions. US Night Vision PVS-14A Monoculars come with a Generation 3 Intensifier Tube, developed by ITT Industries, for high performance and image resolution. The addition of a 3x or 5x magnifier lens to the PVS14A Monocular by US Night Vision allows for long range observation and the built-in infrared illuminator enhances viewing in the darkest conditions. The most versatile night vision system on the market, the PVS-14Alpha can be used hands-free, head-mounted, helmet mounted, weapons mounted or attached to a camera/camcorder for nighttime photography.
