Swarovski Tripod Head FMS Fast Mount System FH 101 with neat locking mechanism and one handed controls.
The 
advantage of this head is how quick and comfortable it is to use. The innovative click-connection attachment makes fitting a telescope easy and the whole tripod head can be operated securely, quickly, precisely and comfortably with one hand. Each of the two shoulders can also be secured with one hand movement. This means that valuable time is not lost when watching or photographing birds.
New and cleverly devised mechanics allow you to independently adjust the tilting and panning movement to either mobile or fixed. The locking mechanism is separate from the mobility adjustment - there is one operating device to lock the apparatus and another to unlock it. The telescope will not move if the lock is on. All tilting and panning movements (tilt angle ± 90°) are guaranteed shock-free, irrespective of temperature and speed of movement, so that the tripod can be used for precise observation, photographing and filming without disruption.
The Swarovski Tripod Head is suitable for both right and left-handed users. Weighing just 540g, the centre of gravity of the whole tripod-telescope unit is very low, meaning that it is very stable.
Another development in the FH 101 is the materials used: special superimposed materials prevent lubricants from being discharged and the high-tensile, corrosion-proof construction plastic is not only stable and unbreakable but also very easy to maintain and reduces vibration.
