Shaking incubators provide the features and performance required for higher productivity and sound results. Ideal for genetic research, cell aeration, bacterial aeration, metabolism studies, and tissue culture studies.
A PID microprocessor temperature controller allows precise adjustment of temperature, accurate within 0.1°C. A high-performance brushless DC motor develops speeds of 40 to 400rpm with smooth rotation, controlled digitally for maximum precision. Large, easy-to-read LED displays both temperature and speed. Benchtop design adds convenience and conserves lab space. An internal light and outlet can be operated independently from switches located on the exterior of the unit.
Counterbalances are removable and adjustable to meet a variety of application needs. Stroke lengths of 1.3cm (1/2"), 1.9cm (3/4"), and 2.5cm (1") are also adjustable. The 48.9Hx37.5Wcm (191/4x143/4") viewing door window is equipped with 2.5cm (1") hermetically-sealed, double pane glass. For safety, door interlock switch stops rotation when door is opened. Noncontact, low watt density nichrome heating element provides maximum service life. The refrigerated model uses a 1/6hp motor and R-134 refrigerant.

Ordering Information: Supplied with one universal shaking platform, four adjustable leveling feet, and standard 110V electrical line cord. Models 1575 and 1575R also include two punched stainless steel shelves. Test tube racks sold separately.
