The Ballistic Plex reticle adds ballistic reference lines to the lower vertical crosshair and thickening of the outer section of the crosshair with a slight taper from the center to the outside edge to aid in low light shooting.
The Mil-dot reticle is in increasingly widespread use among long-range rifle shooters as a means of estimating the range to the target. The Mil-dot reticle was originally fitted to telescopic sights designed for military (and later police) use. The Mil-dot reticle has seen growing acceptance in the civilian sector among target shooters and hunters.

The Lightseeker 30 Pentax Rifle Scope -Matte finish, 4-16x magnification, 50mm, Side Parallax Adjustment also comes with a Zero Reset feature on the finger adjustable calibrated dial which allows field adjustments to be quickly and accurately reset.
