Red containers offer both large and small openings for infectious and biohazardous waste of various types. Containers with hinged lids can easily accommodate the largest sharps suction canisters, trocars, endoscopic instruments, and more. Hinged lids permit temporary closure when not in use. All containers lock for final disposal. Containers 82003-550 and 15704-216 feature a hinged, sealing gasket lid to provide leak-resistant containment of contents. Both containers are DOT approved for transport of regulated medical waste except for cultures and stocks. Container 89004-914 features a gasketed, slide-top lid. It is PG II rated and DOT approved for transport of regulated medical waste including cultures and stocks.

Containers meet or exceed JCAHO, OSHA, and NIOSH/CDC standards and requirements.
