Use of night vision devices by elite special forces.

Gen 3 night vision was develope to improve Second Generation Night Vision Devices, this was acomplished by applying gallium arsenide to the photocathode of NVD, this modification made possible for Night Vision Device to produce bright and very sharp image compare to Generation 2 Night Vision Monoculars, 2nd Gen Night Vision Goggles and Night Vision Rifle Scopes. Over all this provided a great step in use and utilization of 2nd Generation NVD Product in Military, Law Enforcment, and Special Forces.

What are the Night Vision Devices or NVD? Device that has a Nigh Vision Capability collects light via its objective lens, the light it observes inludes starlight, moonlight, and infra-red light. Next, the light goes through photocathode tube that is located inside of the Night Vision Devices, light particles which are called photons are transformed in to electrons, electrons later go through other processes to become augmented. After aplification, electrons are projected on to phosphorus screen that transforms electrons in to visible image.
