A nonpolar MS certified column with reduced column bleed and excellent inertness which results in an improved signal-to-noise ratio for better sensitivity and mass spectral integrity. Ion trap testing and certification available.

The special formulation and deactivation of DB-5ms delivers excellent results across a wide spectrum of functional groups. Excellent peak shape is obtained for both basic and acidic analytes without the need to switch to a separate specialty column. Phase composition: cross-linked/surface bonded, virtually identical to 5% phenyl, 95% dimethylpolysiloxane. Temperature range for columns with 0.53mm I.D. is –60 to 300/320°C (–76 to 572/608°F). Temperature range for all other columns is –60 to 325/350°C (–76 to 617/662°F).
