Pioneer Research Vion 2000 Marine Grey Compass HP2 has been in use for decades by sailors, cruisers and navigators all over the world. The Mini 2000 Compassimage by Pioneer Research features very fast settling time for quick, accurate to the degree bearings in any sea conditions, through its precise optical glass prism. The secret behind the Hockey Puck Mini 2000 is the clear high viscous dampening fluid and its jewel bearing pivot making it very stable, yet accurate to within one degree. The light source in this Pioneer Research Compass is phosphorescent and will last for years and recharges easily with a flash light or other light source. The armoring serves in this compass is to protect the marine compass from shock and the entire unit is completely waterproof and covered by a one-year limited warranty.
