Lightseeker SG Plus Riflescopes include the dual purpose Deepwoods Plex reticle that is designed for use on shotguns to aid in both accurate slug placement and accurate shot pattern placement. Meanwhile, the 2.5x magnification provides the ideal combination of rapid sight picture acquisition and shot placement. Light Seeker SG Plus Pentax Riflescopes are ideally suited for use with shotguns for turkey and slug hunting, with rifles for dangerous game and close range brush hunting, or with muzzle loading rifles. Lightseeker Pentax Rifle Scopes feature different reticles:

	The Ballistic Plex reticle adds ballistic reference lines to the lower vertical crosshair and thickening of the outer section of the crosshair with a slight taper from the center to the outside edge to aid in low light shooting.
	The Mil-dot reticle is in increasingly widespread use among long-range rifle shooters as a means of estimating the range to the target. The Mil-dot reticle was originally fitted to telescopic sights designed for military (and later police) use. The Mildot reticle has seen growing acceptance in the civilian sector among target shooters and hunters.
	The Deepwoods Plex reticle, which is designed for use on shotguns to aid in both accurate slug placement and accurate shot pattern placement, features a circle with overlapping crosshairs which is also useful for range estimation.
